Our Story
In 2021 Shawnray Plummer, Isaiah Yazzie, and Taylor Yazzie founded Native Strong Home Care with the intent to help our people by providing jobs to the community and security to our Navajo tribal members. As the Native Strong Home Care founders, we wanted to build a quality strong Family Owned and Navajo Operated Home Care Business that provides real results.
As children we were told to “Go out, get a job, Learn as well as experience life and return back to the Navajo Reservation to give back to the community. We took that advice with the knowledge and collected years of work experience and started a Home Care Agency of our own.
Our Staff
At Native Strong Home Care, our Direct Care Workers undergo rigorous training and certification to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and expertise to deliver a comprehensive range of services. They are not only trained but also certified, demonstrating their proficiency and commitment to providing exceptional care to our members.
Our Direct Care Workers excel in performing various tasks that encompass light housekeeping duties and personalized personal care services. These encompass a wide spectrum of essential activities aimed at enhancing the quality of life for our members. From aiding in dressing, bathing, and maintaining personal hygiene and grooming to assisting with meal preparation, ensuring proper nutrition, and supporting with eating, our caregivers are adept at providing holistic assistance.

Field Case Supervisor/ Office Manager
Hello, My Name is Isaiah Yazzie I am from Tohlakai NM, I am a Field Case Supervisor for Native Strong Home Care, Where I work with Elders and individuals with disabilities making sure they are comfortable and well taken care of. For the last year I worked as a Direct Support Professional For a company out of Phoenix Arizona. As a Direct support Professional taking care of individuals with disabilities had challenges, but with that said it teaches a person many important life skill such as Patience, Respect, Responsibility, and Compassion as well as getting to know how difficult another person’s life can be. I understand the need to use these skills to help improve my Navajo Tribal Members’ everyday living. Thank you for your time.

Field Case Supervisor/ Office Manager
Greetings My Relatives and my people, my name is Shawnray Plummer. I am of the red running into the water clan. I was born from the bitter water clan, my maternal grandfathers are of the Towering house clan, My paternal grandfathers are the mud clan. I am from Tohatchi NM, Born in Gallup NM. I graduated from Sherman Indian high school in Riverside California. I work with elders and individuals with disabilities for Six Consecutive year, working along side them and hear many stories made me want to help others that need service and support In their lives. Being able to assist others is what I am always looking forward to and learning more as well as using the knowledge I gain to make a difference in my Navajo Tribal Members lives as well as the community. Taylor Yazzie

Greetings fellow members of the great Navajo Nation. My name is Taylor Yazzie. I am the proud owner and CEO of Native Strong Home Care. I grew up on the Navajo nation in the community of Tohlakai NM. As a young child I often heard from my elders to go to school, get a job and give back to our community. So, I did what they said but was never really satisfied with working for someone else. I wanted to start a company of my own and I did just that. Native Strong Home Care was created with the intent to give back to our elders who we should hold dear to our hearts and to provide jobs to our Diné people who take the upmost care for our Navajo elders. So with the help of my team, we hope to bring the best quality home care services to the Navajo nation and the ones you love. Ahéhee'.
